7th August 2013: Jazz for Babies 5 Instrument-Themed official album launch OCT 12 at Kings Place as part of the Whirlwind Festival!

Mark your calendars for a very special FREE event that has just been confirmed for OCT 12, 2013!  We’re throwing a party– or more precisely– having an official album launch event for Jazz for Babies as well as our first 5 instrument-themed albums at the first Whirlwind Festival! And, excitedly, the event takes place at one of the most amazing venues in the UK, the Kings Place in London.  JFB founder Michael Janisch started Whirlwind Recordings in 2010 to release his own solo music and the label has grown to become one of the premier musician-owned indie labels in the world (JFB is a sub-division of the label).   This Whirlwind Festival is the label’s first festival and will take place across three days featuring 18 bands and nearly 100 musicians from around the world.

On Saturday 12, 2013 in the St. Pancras Room of Kings Place, JFB founder Michael Janisch will be accompanied by two world class musicians (Jay Phelps who is the trumpeter on ‘The Trumpet Album’) and French Guitarist Romain Pilon performing lullaby renditions of classic songs from our albums, followed by an education session about music and demonstrations of their instruments. This concert is for newborns, babies and all children under the age of 5 ideally (and their parents!). There will also be free refreshments and light snacks provided and plenty of our albums!  We expect a lot of people to come so book early to get your place.  See you there!

Here is a link to the Kings Place website to book your slot.
