12th January 2014: Jazz for Babies Wins National Parenting Center Seal of Approval!!!

Today we are very excited to announce that we have won this year’s National Parenting Center Seal of Approval! The National Parenting Center’s Seal of Approval program identifies the finest products and services being marketed to the parent and child audience. This award signifies to other parents that their peers have acknowledged a product’s quality and desirability based on a wide variety of determining factors. It goes without saying that we are incredibly proud to have received this high honor!  Here is an excerpt from what they said about us:

“Jazz for Babies offers a twist on traditional “baby” music. This is not the same handful of songs, over and over, with the same kind of €œ’childish’€ sound. The Jazz for Babies CD set takes well-known songs and puts them to soothing jazz melodies. Many people know jazz as one of the more complex genres of music when it comes to harmony and rhythm patterns. Composer Michael Janisch uses his considerable skill to tailor this music to his young audience. Classic songs like ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’,€ ‘€œYou Are My Sunshine’,€ and €’You Are So Beautiful’€ are just a handful of the titles that you will recognize and appreciate here. Parents told us that when they played this music for their babies there was a palpable feeling of peacefulness, lightness and calm that washed over both their babies and themselves as they listened.”
